Training

The trainings take place under the auspices of the Ecosond s.r.o training center. Information on the venue can always be found at the selected training date.

ECOSOND s.r.o. is a training and testing center that performs professional training and qualification examinations for employees in the field of heat treatment of metals, certified according to the Std-402 APC Standard.

A confirmation of completion of the course is issued. Participants will receive learning materials containing the lectured material and related information. Each training is completed by a qualification exam, after which it is possible to apply for a certificate from the Certification Association for Personnel (APC).

Level 0 - specific worker of heat treatment of metals

Worker in a specific area in the field of heat treatment and its control:

• operation of carburising equipment, operation of nitriding equipment, operation of induction equipment
• operation of heating equipment, operation of vacuum equipment

Worker is able to perform work either according to established or recognized instructions and procedures and / or under the supervision of a heat treatment technologist or foreman, performs heat treatment according to given procedures or instructions, prepares equipment for heat treatment of metals, performs measurements for heat treatment, makes records of performed activities and interprets the measurement results.

Level 1 – Heat treatment specialist

Worker in the field of hardening practice with experience and practical knowledge in the field of heat treatment and its control. He is able to perform work according to established or recognized instructions and procedures or under the supervision of a heat treatment technologist or foreman.

Target group: Heat treatment specialist, operation of equipment for heat treatment of metals

Level 2 – master, technologist

An experienced and skilled worker in the field of heat treatment of metals with expertise in specific areas, who is able to perform work at a high level, both in technological and supervisory activities.

Target group:

Masters and technologists of heat treatment, graduates of the basic course of heat treatment, workers with many years of experience, with high school education or university education.

Brief content of the training

• Transformation diagrams
• Vacuum technology in heat treatment
• Theory of quenching agents, cooling, surface hardening, hardening processes in liquids
• Modern protective atmospheres and their control, protective agents during heat treatment
• Deformation during heat treatment
• Modern methods of control of heat and chemical-heat treatment processes and their regulation
• PVD, CVD layers, coating processes
